Verification and access

Waiting on approval, or your sign-up was sent back? Verification is a human review and usually completes within 24 hours. If it's been longer than that, email us with the address you signed up with and we'll look at your account directly.

If your sign-up was rejected, the message on your pending screen explains what to fix. You can correct it and resubmit without creating a new account.

Reporting something

Report a post, comment, message, or profile that breaks the Terms, harassment, spam, doxxing, or anything illegal, and we'll review it. Include a link to the content if you can. You can also report conduct that happened in a community chat; admins can read the room history when investigating.

Your data

You can ask us to:

• Export your data and we'll send a JSON archive of your profile, posts, and content.
• Delete your account. Your account becomes inaccessible immediately, and we hard-delete the underlying data after a 30-day restore window.
• Correct anything you can't already change yourself from settings.

Bugs and feedback

Found something broken, or want a feature? Tell us what you expected and what happened instead, plus your device and browser if it's a display issue. Feature requests from alumni drive most of what we build.

Press and partnerships

For anything about AltSchool partnerships, community events, or press, use the same address and we'll route it to the right person.
